Under her leadership, Shoreline Dental began in 2012 and has quickly grown into a full service dental practice that employs 30 team members across multiple locations while servicing over 3,500 individuals from 6 states and 100 cities. Shoreline Dental has earned honors as the top dental office in San Clemente from the San Clemente Times and San Clemente Lifestyle Magazine as voted by its readers.

As a dentist Dr. Ritzau has earned accolades for her clinical excellence. She was honored with the prestigious 40 Under 40 Award as the one the top young dental providers in the nation by Incisal Edge Magazine. She is one of the only General Dentists in Orange County to have earned the title of Platinum Plus Level Provider for her excellence in Invisalign, and was recently appointed to the board of the American Academy of Clear Aligners.

Dr. Kristen Ritzau obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry, earning Summa Cum Laude honors and the Alpha Omega International Award as the top ranked graduate in her class. She was also elected by school faculty into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. While at UCLA, Kristen earned honors of excellence in the areas of Restorative Dentistry, Operative Dentistry, and Advanced Removable and Fixed Prosthodontics. She also served as the President of the RV Tucker Cast Gold Study Clubs and won awards the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Orofacial Pain, and the American Academy of Periodontology.

She is also a member of the International Dental Implant Association and licensed by the State of California for Oral Conscious Sedation. She continues to focus on improving her clinical capabilities as a dentist and providing a variety of services that allows her to provide the best in patient care.
